Shree Ganesh Fibre Glass Company is over in Shakurpur, specifically near Shakur Basti at Wz-238. Our workshop is usually full of dust and the smell of resin because that’s just how it is when you work with fiberglass. We make all sorts of things out of fiber, from sheets to custom molded parts for different uses. It’s a messy job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. The space is large enough to handle some of the bigger projects, but it’s definitely a working shed, not a showroom. We spend hours cutting, layering, and finishing the glass pieces. Shakurpur is a busy industrial kind of area, so we fit right in with the other workshops on the street. We’ve been at this for a good while and have learned the tricks of the trade through trial and error. People come to us when they need something durable made that won't rust or rot. We don't have a big marketing department, we just show people the work we’ve done for others. It’s hard work on the hands and you have to be careful with the materials, but we are used to it by now. The neighbors know us as the guys who are always covered in white dust. We take things as they come and try to finish every piece properly before it goes out the door. It’s just how we do things here in the Basti.
