It’s a simple setup in a residential apartment building. Working from an apartment like this makes the whole process feel a bit more personal and less like a cold institution. There isn't a team of hundreds here, just a focused space to handle accounting and tax matters. I spend most of my time at the desk going through records and making sure everything aligns with the current laws. It’s a lot of reading and a lot of typing. Pitampura is a busy part of Delhi, but inside Dipni Apartments, it stays relatively calm. I’ve been practicing here for a while and have gotten to know the rhythms of the building and the road outside. It’s a no-frills kind of place. You come in, we talk about the numbers, and we figure out what needs to be filed. There’s no marketing department or sales team. It’s just me doing the work that needs to be done. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy throughout the year. I usually have a stack of newspapers on the side table and a half-finished cup of coffee nearby. It is just how I work best.
