Our place is inside the Ring Road Mall in Rohini, Sector 3. We are up on the second floor, specifically Unit 227. It’s a bit of a walk from the main entrance, but there are elevators if you don't want to use the stairs. Being in a mall is different than being on the street. It’s a bit more closed in, and you always have the hum of the air conditioning in the background. Even though the name says Pvt Ltd, we aren't a huge operation with suits. It’s just a few of us working out of this unit. We spend a lot of time here, mostly looking out at the hallway or checking on the inventory. It can get quiet during the weekdays, then really loud on Saturday and Sunday. The lights stay on all day, so you sometimes lose track of what time it is outside. Moving boxes in and out through the mall corridors can be a pain, especially when the elevators are busy with shoppers. The mall security guys know us by now since we are here every single day. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. It’s just the unit number on the door and us inside getting things done. We've been in this spot for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the building. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs. It’s just a regular workplace for us, doing what needs to be done every day.
