Safety Carriers (India)

Our base of operations is at N-41, E-195 in Suraj Park, which is in the Samay Pur area of Badli, Delhi. It’s a very industrial neighborhood, very busy with trucks and heavy vehicles everywhere. We’ve been here at this address for a long time. Our main thing is transport and carrying goods from one place to another. We have a fleet that we have to keep an eye on, making sure the engines are running okay and the drivers are getting enough rest. The office is right where all the action is. You can hear the engines idling outside while we’re inside trying to sort out the manifests. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. Every load needs its own set of documents. We spend our days making sure the routes are planned out so the drivers don't get stuck in the worst of the Delhi traffic, though that’s easier said than done. Some days are stressful when a truck gets delayed or there’s a problem with the cargo, but we just take it one step at a time. It’s a hands-on business. We’re often out in the yard checking the straps and the tarps ourselves. It’s not a clean job, you get some grease on your hands, but it’s honest work. We just want to make sure the stuff gets where it’s going without any extra trouble.
