Sachdeva Brothers

Sachdeva Brothers is located at Shop No 3/23 in New Moti Nagar. It’s a family thing, so there’s always someone you know behind the counter. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of the walls to stack our stuff. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that keeps the air moving a bit. We started out small and just stayed in the same spot all these years. Most of our neighbors know us by name, and we usually know what they need before they even ask. It’s a lot of heavy lifting sometimes, moving crates and checking the inventory lists we keep in a beat-up notebook. We don't use fancy computers for everything. We like the way things are, even if the paint is peeling a little near the ceiling. New Moti Nagar is a decent place to work, even if the traffic gets backed up right in front of our door. We spend a lot of time drinking chai and talking to the regular customers who stop by just to say hello. It's not a flashy business. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to work. By the time we head home, we're usually pretty tired, but it’s a good kind of tired from a long day at the shop. We keep the lights on until the street starts to empty out for the night.
