You'll find S R Handa Maternity Clinic & Medical Centre at A1/138 on Lawrence Road. We've been in Keshav Puram for quite some time now. It’s a medical centre where we handle maternity cases and some general health things too. The building is a bit older, but we keep it functional. It’s right in the middle of the local residential blocks. People stop by for all sorts of reasons. We have a couple of doctors who come in on shifts. The waiting area has some old magazines and a water cooler. It’s not a fancy private hospital, just a local clinic for the community. We get quite a lot of mothers coming in for their monthly checks. Lawrence Road can get pretty congested, so we tell people to give themselves extra time to get here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the daily work. Sometimes the front desk gets a bit chaotic when three people show up at once without an appointment. We do our best to help everyone out. The floors are scrubbed daily. We’ve seen many babies born into families that have lived here for generations. It’s a very local kind of place. We just keep our heads down and do the work required. We aren't here for show, just for medicine.
