You’ll find us at MG House, right in the middle of Wazirpur at unit 101. This area is mostly known for its industrial side, so it’s not exactly a place you’d come for a quiet walk. There’s always the sound of machinery or trucks loading and unloading somewhere nearby. We’ve been operating Pradeep Kumar And Co. from this spot for quite some time now. The office itself is pretty basic—just some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and plenty of cabinets full of papers. We don’t really have a reception desk or anything like that; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. It’s a no-nonsense kind of environment. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through spreadsheets. The tea here is okay, though we usually send someone down to the corner stall when we want the good stuff. Since we’re on the ground floor, we see everyone coming and going from the building, which keeps things interesting. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, and the fans never seem to move fast enough, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there.
