Pmc Help Foundation

Pmc Help Foundation is situated at 231 Pratap Khand in Vishwash Karma Nagar. This is over in the Shahdara area of East Delhi. It’s a very residential neighborhood, so it feels quite different from the big commercial hubs. Our office is part of a regular building where families live too. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we keep our stuff. It’s not very big, but we don't need much. Most of our work is about helping people out with various things, and we don't need a fancy lobby for that. We have a few computers and some old wooden tables. The neighborhood is full of small businesses and workshops, so there is always the sound of someone fixing something or moving goods around. We like it here because it feels real. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just a local foundation trying to do some good in Shahdara. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. That’s just how things go. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. Most people who come to see us are from the nearby streets. We know most of them by face, if not by name. It’s a simple setup for a simple purpose, and we wouldn't have it any other way in this part of East Delhi.
