Perfect Graphic Point

Our small shop is over in Pitampura, in the West Enclave area at A 62 C 2. It’s not a very big space, but we’ve managed to fit a couple of large printers and some computers in here. The air usually smells like fresh ink and warm paper. We spend a lot of our time sitting in front of screens, trying to get the colors to look right before we hit the print button. Sometimes the machines act up or get jammed, and we have to spend an hour taking things apart to find the problem. It’s part of the job. We have stacks of paper everywhere—different weights, different sizes, some glossy and some matte. It’s easy to get lost in the piles if you’re not careful. People from the neighborhood come in with all sorts of requests, sometimes just needing a few copies or a simple layout done. We have a small counter where we talk to everyone, and there’s usually a radio playing softly in the background. The lighting is a bit bright because we need to see the details, but it makes the place feel energetic. It’s not a fancy design studio with expensive furniture. It’s just a practical workroom where we get the printing done. We keep things simple and try to finish the jobs before the day ends. We often have a quick tea while waiting for the big jobs to finish printing.
