Osmanabad Alumini Charitable Foundation

Our foundation is based out of Pitampura, specifically at Khasra No. 408. It’s on the first floor, right near the Shiva Market and that Tibetan market everyone knows. If you’ve ever been to this part of North West Delhi, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the weekends. The Osmanabad Alumini Charitable Foundation started because a group of us who went to school together wanted to keep in touch and do some good. It’s not very formal. We meet up in this small office space and talk about what needs to be done. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the desk is usually covered in old newspapers and tea cups. Being near the market means there’s always something happening outside. You can hear the vendors calling out and the traffic never really stops. It’s a practical place for us. We don’t have fancy brochures or a glossy website. Most of what we do is just through word of mouth among the old students. Sometimes it’s hard to get everyone together because people have jobs and families, but we try our best. The address is 43 Khasra No. 408, and we’ve been here long enough that the local postman doesn’t get lost anymore. It’s just a regular office for regular people trying to stay connected to where they came from. We drink a lot of chai and get through the work bit by bit.
