Origin Designs

Up on the 7th floor of D-Mall in Pitam Pura, you can find us at 706-A. This is where Origin Designs operates from. It’s a decent enough spot, though the elevators in the mall can be a bit of a wait during the lunch hour or on weekends. We have a view of the surrounding area, which is mostly just more buildings and the busy streets of Pitam Pura below. The office itself is pretty basic. We have our computers and some half-empty coffee mugs scattered around. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a magazine cover. We have wires running across the floor and stacks of old sketches in the corner. Being in a mall is a bit strange sometimes because you walk past a food court to get to work, but it makes grabbing a snack easy. We’ve been in this unit for a bit now and it feels like home. The 7th floor is usually quieter than the lower levels, which is good for getting things done. We aren’t a huge company with fancy titles. We just show up, do the design work that needs doing, and head home like everyone else. Sometimes we stay late when a project is moving slow, but we don't mind the quiet of the mall at night. It’s a steady life here. We’ve got a small fridge for milk and a kettle, but it serves us well enough for now.
