Over at H-2/33 in Budh Vihar Phase-I, that’s where you’ll find Ooms Boiler Engineers. We are pretty close to the Khatu Shyam Mandir. Working with boilers is a heavy job. It’s hot and often quite dirty, but it’s what we know. Our place is basically a hub for parts and tools. We don’t really spend much time making the office look pretty because we are usually out on a job or fixing something in the back. Budh Vihar is a busy place and we’ve been part of the landscape here for a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the boilers we look at keep running like they should. It’s a lot of pressure, literally and figuratively. Most of the staff here have been around for years. We know the regulars who come by. Sometimes we just sit and have a chai while waiting for a delivery. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work. The temple nearby brings a lot of people to the area, so it never feels lonely. We deal with pipes, valves, and heavy metal all day. It’s loud, it’s messy, and it’s exactly how we like it. We just handle the engineering side of things and try to keep everyone's systems working without too much fuss. It keeps us busy and pays the bills. That is about it.
