You’ll find Oihal Woven over at Shop No-120 in the Vardhman Fashion Mall. We are part of the LSC on Street 43 in Pitampura. Being in a mall sounds fancy, but our shop is actually quite small and very much a working space. We deal with woven materials, so there are always samples and rolls of cloth tucked into every corner. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have more than a couple of people inside. Pitampura is a really active part of North West Delhi, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise around the mall. We spend most of our time checking over the weave of the fabrics and making sure everything matches the orders. We don't have any big marketing team or a polished image. It's just a few of us who have been doing this for a while. Sometimes the mall gets incredibly crowded during the festival seasons, which makes getting our stock in and out a bit of a challenge. We’ve learned to just take it in stride. Our day usually involves a lot of counting, measuring, and packing. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We try to be straightforward with everyone who walks through the door. There are no fancy mission statements here, just a commitment to showing up and doing the work as best as we can every single day in our little shop.
