Needan Charitable Foundation

We run the Needan Charitable Foundation out of House Number 491 in Block N, Mangolpuri. This isn't a professional office building with glass walls or a big lobby. It’s a real house in a very busy part of North West Delhi. We set up a few rooms with desks and computers so we can handle the daily work that comes our way. Mangolpuri is a crowded and lively area, so there is always noise from the street and neighbors passing by. We like being right in the middle of it all because it keeps us connected to what’s happening in the community. The office is pretty simple. We have some chairs for visitors and stacks of documents that we try to keep organized, though it’s a struggle some days. We don't have a large staff or a marketing budget. It’s just a few of us who wanted to do something useful right here in our own neighborhood. We spend a lot of time talking to local people and figuring out what needs to be finished next. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets slow, but we just keep going. It’s a humble way to work, but it feels right for what we are trying to do.
