Nazir Paints & Hardware Store

We have been here on Mangal Bazar Road in Pitampura for quite a while now. The shop is at NP-30, and if you know this area, you know how busy it gets, especially on market days. It’s just me and a couple of others most of the time. We have stacks of paint cans everywhere, and sometimes it is hard to find a specific brush or a particular type of screw because things just get piled up. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the cement bags or the hardware stuff we move around. People from the neighborhood stop in when they have a leak or if they want to freshen up a room with some new color. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We just have what people need for their houses. The shelves are a bit old, and the sign outside has seen better days, but it does the job. When the market is in full swing, there is a lot of noise from the street, and we just keep busy helping whoever walks through the door. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside when it is quiet and just watch the traffic go by on Mangal Bazar Road. It’s a simple life running a hardware store here. We know most of the people who come in by name, and they know where to find us if they need a gallon of white paint or a new set of door handles.
