Montu Electronics

Our little shop, Montu Electronics, is right in the middle of Vishal Market. If you’ve ever walked through West Parmanand Colony, you might have seen us at 3 M F. It’s a crowded place, especially in the evenings when everyone is out buying groceries or just walking around. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk past our door. The shop isn't very large, so things tend to pile up on the shelves. We do our best to keep it organized, but sometimes it’s a struggle with all the parts coming in. Most of our day is spent at the workbench. It’s where the real work happens. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come in, you just talk directly to whoever isn't holding a soldering iron at that moment. We deal with all sorts of electronic bits and pieces. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the neighborhood news, and other days we can barely find time to eat lunch. The market can be loud, but it’s home for us. We like the energy of the colony. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep the shop running and help out the folks who come in with broken stuff. It's a simple way to make a living by working with our hands every day.
