Monga Mesh Industries

If you head over to the D-Block in the Dsiidc Industrial Area in Narela, you’ll see our sign for Monga Mesh Industries. We are right in the middle of all the factories there. It’s an industrial life for us, surrounded by metal and wire. We spend our time making mesh, which is a lot of repetitive work, but we take it seriously. The machines are old but they run well if you know how to talk to them. The floor is usually covered in little bits of wire, so you have to watch your step. We don't have much in the way of air conditioning, so the summers in Narela are pretty tough on everyone. We just drink plenty of water and keep moving. Our neighbors in the D-Block are mostly other small shops and manufacturing units, so we all know each other. Sometimes we borrow a tool from the guy next door, and he comes over when his power acts up. It’s a community of workers. We don't have a fancy website or a big PR department. Most of our business comes from people just knowing we are here and what we do. We show up early, turn on the lights, and start the machines. By the end of the day, our hands are usually a bit greasy and tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. We're just a bunch of regular people making wire products in a dusty corner of Narela.
