Modi Opticals

We've been at B-1514 in Shastri Nagar for quite a while now. Most people around here know the spot. It is just a small place where we deal with glasses and frames every day. I started this because I saw how hard it was for folks to get a decent pair of spectacles without traveling too far. We spend our mornings cleaning the display cases and waiting for the first walk-ins. Sometimes it gets busy, especially on Saturdays when everyone has time off, but usually, it is just a steady flow of neighbors coming in to get their hinges tightened or to pick out something new. It is not fancy here, but we have enough room to get the job done. I usually sit near the front desk. We see a lot of the same faces year after year. Children who used to come in with their parents are now bringing their own kids, which is funny to think about. The street outside can be noisy with the traffic, but inside it is mostly quiet work. We keep a stock of different lenses and those little screwdrivers that always seem to go missing when you need them. If you are walking around Shastri Nagar, you’ll see our sign. We just try to keep things simple and make sure nobody leaves with blurry vision. It is just what we do here every day. We also have a small chair in the corner for folks to wait.
