We have our office at 309 in D Mall, which is located in Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura. Being inside a mall is a bit strange for a company that deals with metalloys, but it is actually very convenient. Midas Touch Metalloys Pvt Ltd has been in this unit for a few years now. It’s a compact space, so we have to be very organized with our files and samples. There are pieces of metal and alloy ingots sitting on the shelves next to the ledgers. The mall can get very busy on the weekends, but during the week it is mostly just office people like us. We spend a lot of time on the telephone talking to various vendors and checking on shipments. Pitampura is a lively area with lots of places to grab a tea or a snack, which is nice when you need a break from the paperwork. We don't have any big mission statements or promotional posters on the walls. Mostly it's just calendars and maybe a few photos of our families. We like the fact that everything we need is right here in the building. Sometimes the lift takes a while to arrive, so we just take the stairs to the third floor. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just try to keep the business running smoothly and make sure our customers get what they ordered without any trouble.
