Mercury Rubber Mills

Mercury Rubber Mills is based out of the Wazirpur Industrial Area at 16-Cummunity Centre. Being in an industrial area means there is always a lot of activity, smoke, and noise around us. It is not the quietest place to work, but it is where the action is. Our building is a standard industrial block, and we use every inch of it. There is the smell of rubber in the air, which we don't even notice anymore, though visitors always mention it. We spend our time managing the mills and making sure the orders for the day are processed. The office part of the building is pretty basic—just desks, some old filing cabinets, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls, just some old calendars and safety notices. The staff here is used to the long hours and the heat that comes with being in Wazirpur. We usually eat our lunch in the small break area or sometimes head out to one of the local dhabas if we have time. It’s a very grounded way to live, working with raw materials and machinery every day. We don’t try to make it sound more exciting than it is. It’s just manufacturing work that requires everyone to show up and do their part. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other business owners on the block and we often help each other out when someone is short on supplies or needs a hand.
