You can find us at Shop No 21 in the RP Market area of Pitampura. The market is always buzzing with people, so it never really feels quiet around here. Our shelves are packed with all sorts of things, from biscuits to little treats that kids like. We’ve had this spot for a good bit of time now, and we know exactly where every single item is kept. It might look a bit crowded to someone walking in for the first time, but there’s an order to it. My brother and I take turns at the counter. When one of us is busy with a customer, the other is usually checking the stock or talking to the delivery guys. We get deliveries several times a week, so there’s always boxes that need to be opened and sorted out. The floor is old, and the lights sometimes flicker, but it’s a comfortable place to work. People from the nearby apartments come in for their daily snacks. We don’t spend much time on advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people find out we’re here. Most of the time, we’re just chatting with the regulars about the weather or local news. It’s a regular shop for regular people. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. Every evening, we pull the shutters down and do it all again the next morning. It is simple work, but we like it that way.
