Our shop, M. N. Jeweller Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away at H-2 in Ashok Vihar Phase-I. It’s a neighborhood we’ve grown very fond of over the years. We aren't like those massive jewelry showrooms you see in the city center with security guards at every door and bright flashing lights. Our place is a bit more personal and quiet. We know many of the people who walk through our doors by name because they live just down the street or have been coming to us for a long time. The shop is small and we keep things simple. There’s a counter, some stools, and a lot of history in these walls. Sometimes the display cases get a bit smudged from people leaning in to look at things, but that’s just how it is. We spend our days chatting with neighbors and showing them pieces we’ve tucked away. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We might have a cup of tea with a customer while we talk about the weather or the news. Ashok Vihar has a nice feel to it, and being in Phase-I means we are right in the heart of the community. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing. We just rely on being here and doing what we do. It’s a quiet life, mostly, but we enjoy the company and the work. Our doors open early, and we stay until the evening lights come on in the street.
