Light Leak

We are based in Pitampura, over in Lok Vihar. Our place is on the second floor of B 196. It’s a short walk from the Kohat Enclave Metro Station. The studio has high ceilings which is good for the lights we use. It is mostly one big room with some curtains to divide the space. We have a lot of tripods and black cables running across the floor, so you have to be careful where you walk. There is a small desk in the corner where we do the editing work on the screen. It’s usually pretty quiet inside Light Leak, except for the hum of the equipment. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small nameplate on the door. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we are doing with all the gear. We spend a lot of time adjusting the positions of the lamps. The sunlight comes in through the side window in the morning, which we sometimes have to block out. It’s a simple setup for photography and lighting work. We have a small sofa for guests, but it’s mostly covered in camera bags and reflectors. We don't follow a strict schedule; we are here when there is work to be done. It’s just a practical space where we focus on getting the shots right without any fuss. Usually, we finish up and head out for dinner late in the evening.
