Down here at 8/67A in the Double Storey area of Vijay Nagar, we’ve got our office set up. It’s a standard place in Delhi 110009 where we handle all the elevator stuff. Most of our day is spent traveling between buildings to check on lifts and make sure everything is greased up and running. Vijay Nagar is pretty crowded so getting around can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we’re used to it. We aren't big on corporate meetings or anything like that. We mostly just talk about what parts we need and which building has a sensor acting up. If you walk into our place, you'll see stacks of forms and maybe some old gear components on the shelf. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We deal with all sorts of lift issues, from doors that won't open to control panels that have gone dark. People get frustrated when they have to take the stairs, so we try to be quick about the repairs. Sometimes we stay late if a job is particularly stubborn or the wiring is a mess. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. We know the neighborhood well and most of the building managers have us on speed dial for when things go wrong. We just take it one day at a time, fixing what needs fixing and keeping the elevators in Delhi moving. It is just the daily routine for us here.
