Being in Mangol Puri Industrial Area means there is always dust and the sound of machines. Our unit at B-58 is right in the middle of it. We deal with auto products, so there is always a bit of oil on the floor and metal parts stacked on the benches. It’s not a place for someone who likes to keep their clothes clean. I’ve been working here for years, and I’ve gotten used to the smell of grease and the hum of the nearby factories. Kim Autos isn’t a huge corporation. It’s just us doing our thing every day from morning until late evening. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. The neighborhood is tough, but the people who work here are good. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If someone needs a part, they come to the gate and ask. We look through the crates until we find it. It’s a lot of manual work, checking sizes and making sure things aren't rusted. The walls of the shop could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. We’re usually too busy with the next order. It’s a simple business. We make the parts, we pack them, and they go out. No one here cares about sounding professional. We just care about getting the job finished.
