Kanhaiya Lal Painter

I have been doing painting work here in Rohini Sector 18 for quite some time. My small setup is over in F Block. It started out with just me, and I still do most of the painting myself or with a couple of helpers I trust. Painting isn't just about slapping some color on a wall; there is a lot of prep work like scraping and filling holes that people don't always notice. I stay pretty local to this area because it is where I live too. People in the block know me well, and I mostly get work through neighbors telling each other about my work. I am not a big company with a fancy office or a fleet of trucks. I am just a painter who shows up and gets the walls done. I usually keep a few buckets of paint and some old brushes in the back of my small van. Sometimes projects take a bit longer if the weather is humid, as the paint just does not dry right on those days. I try to be very careful not to make a mess on the floors or the furniture. Cleaning up at the end of the day is the part I like the least, but it is a necessary part of the job. It is good, steady work and it keeps me busy through the different seasons. If you walk through F Block, you will probably see me working somewhere.
