Kaku Industries is located at B-4/80 in Ashok Vihar Phase-II. This is more of a residential and quiet commercial mix, so it doesn't feel like those giant industrial zones you see elsewhere. Our building is just a regular spot on the street where we’ve set up our equipment and offices. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, and the neighborhood has changed around us, but we stay pretty much the same. It’s a small operation, really. We have a few rooms dedicated to production and a small front area where we handle the accounts and talk to anybody who drops by. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with orders to worry about that. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time checking the quality of what we’re making. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we’re making too much noise too late, so we try to keep the heavy stuff for the morning. We don't have a website that looks like a movie or anything; we just rely on people knowing where B-4/80 is and what we do inside. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business in Delhi, just keeping things steady and making sure the bills are paid and the work is out on time.
