You can find Jay Kay Enterprises tucked away in the Wazirpur Industrial Area at A-127. Being in an industrial zone means there is always noise and movement around us. There are trucks coming in and out and the sound of machinery is pretty much constant from morning until evening. Our building is a sturdy one, designed for hard work rather than looking pretty for visitors. We handle a lot of different tasks here, mostly involving production and getting orders ready for transport. The air is often a bit dusty and the floor is usually covered with materials, but that is just how an industrial unit looks when people are actually working. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you usually just walk in and find someone in the middle of a task. It’s a very hands-on environment. Every morning we go over the list of what needs to go out and we just get to it. Sometimes we have to work late when a deadline is tight, but that is part of the life here. We’ve been at this A-127 spot for a while and the neighbors all know us. We don’t bother with much talk about growth or strategy; we just focus on making sure the items are made correctly and the trucks are loaded on time. It is a simple, hardworking life in a busy part of town.
