Our place is in Narela, way up in North Delhi. We are located at Plot Number 33 in Gali Number 4, which is part of Sanjay Colony. It’s a dusty area with a lot of small businesses and warehouses. Deepak Patwa is the person in charge here. The office is filled with books and papers everywhere. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. Narela can get very hot in the summer, and the lanes are quite narrow. We spend our days packing books and sending them out. There are always delivery vans coming in and out of the colony. It’s a busy, noisy environment. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just try to get the books to the people who ordered them. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. It’s hard work, and the hours can be long during the busy season. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The neighborhood knows us. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles. We’re just people who trade books. It’s a simple business. We don’t do much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself. If you come by, you’ll see us busy with boxes and tape. That’s just how it is here in Delhi. The address is easy to find once you get into Gali Number 4. We’ve been part of Sanjay Colony for years and we aren't planning on moving anytime soon.
