Our place is in Pitampura, over at Raj Nagar C 70. It’s a regular building in a busy part of North Delhi. We work on language stuff, which means lots of typing and looking at screens all day. The office is full of dictionaries and old reference books that we still use sometimes. We have a few computers that have seen better days but they still work fine for what we need. It gets a bit noisy outside because of the traffic in Raj Nagar, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't a big flashy agency. We are just a group of people who are good with words. We spend our time translating or fixing texts. Often we have to call each other over to look at a difficult sentence. There is usually some snacks on the table because we get hungry in the afternoons. We don't have a formal dress code. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable. The office at C 70 is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just focus on the language and try to get the meaning right. People come in with documents and we talk through it with them. It is a simple setup and it works for us. We’ve been in Pitampura for a while and know the local tea stall very well.
