Hope To Win Foundation

Hope To Win Foundation is up on the third floor of Plot Number 47 in Village Rithala. Some old records might still call it Number 36, but it's the same spot. We are right on the Manday Market Road. It gets pretty loud outside with the market going on, but up here it’s where we get things done. We started this foundation because we saw how hard people were working just to get by in this part of town. We wanted to provide a bit of a safety net, if we could. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a polished way of doing things. It’s very much a day-to-day operation. One day we might be collecting old books for the local kids, and the next we’re helping a worker get their paperwork sorted. It’s a lot of climbing stairs since we're on the third floor, which keeps us moving, I suppose. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just the little bit of Rithala we can see from our window. People know us around the market now. They drop by when they have a problem or if they have some old stuff to give away. It’s a community thing. We just provide the space and the time to make it happen. Sometimes the office gets dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we just wipe it down and keep going. We aren't experts, just people trying to make a difference where we live.
