Himco

Himco is based out of C-5 in the Industrial Estate at Clutterbuckganj. It’s a name that people sometimes find funny, but for us, it’s just where we go to work every day. The industrial estate has been there for decades, and our unit at C-5 has seen a lot of history. The ceilings are high, which is good for the heat, but the floors are old concrete that has seen better days. We don't have air conditioning, just some big industrial fans that hum all day long. The work we do is repetitive, but it’s what we know. We have a small group of guys who have been with us for years. We eat lunch under the tree near the entrance when it isn't raining. Clutterbuckganj isn't the busiest place in the world, but it has its own pace. We don't bother with fancy signs or anything. If you come looking for us, you’ll see the Himco sign hanging slightly crooked over the door. That’s just us. We focus on getting the orders out on time and keeping the machines in good shape. There’s a lot of grease and metal around, so it’s not the cleanest place, but it is honest work. We start early when the air is still cool and finish up before it gets too dark to see the road clearly.
