Hearing Hopes Clinic

We are located in Rohini Sector 24, right on the second floor of House Number 135 in Pocket 12. It’s a residential area mostly, so it stays relatively calm compared to the main markets. If you are coming from the direction of Vikas Bharti School, we are quite close to that. Getting up to the second floor is easy enough, though some people have to take it slow on the stairs. We set up this clinic to help folks with their hearing issues. It’s not a massive hospital or anything, just a few rooms where we do the testing and talk to people about their hearing aids. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, more houses and traffic now. We spend most of our day checking machines and making sure the batteries and parts are ready for whoever walks in. Sometimes the waiting area gets full on Saturdays when the parents are off work. We try to keep a bit of water and some magazines out for them. It’s a bit of a climb but once you’re inside, it’s quiet enough to hear. We handle a lot of the elderly residents from around Sec 24 who’ve been living here for decades. It feels good to know the people who live in the same block. We just try to be helpful and honest about what can be done for each person who visits.
