Gupta Auto Industries

Gupta Auto Industries is out in Narela, at I-2211 in the DSIDC Complex. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where all the industrial action is. The complex is huge and it’s easy to get lost if you don't know the block numbers. Our unit is just a standard shed like many others in this row. We have the heavy machinery on one side and a small corner partitioned off for the paperwork. The floor is usually stained with oil and there’s always a bit of metal dust in the corners. We wear our old clothes to work because everything gets dirty pretty fast. It’s a loud place when everything is running, so we have to shout a bit to be heard. We have a small group of workers who are very good at what they do. They don't need much supervision. We eat our lunch together in the shade outside when the weather is decent. There isn't much in the way of fancy amenities here. We have a bathroom, a water cooler, and a place to park our scooters. The power supply is usually okay, but we have a backup just in case. We’ve been part of this industrial community for quite a while now. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know. We just focus on making sure the output is right.
