We've been at Lawrence Road for quite a while now. It's an industrial spot, B-30 specifically, so it gets a bit dusty around here. People often ask why a garden company is tucked away in this part of town, but it works for us. We spend most of our time out on sites anyway. My dad started this years ago. He liked the idea of making things look a bit greener in the city. We have a small crew. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather starts to change. We mostly deal with plants and fixing up outdoor spaces. It's messy work. You'll usually find us covered in dirt or loading up the trucks early in the morning. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. If you come by, you’ll just see the storage area and where we keep the tools. Sometimes the gates are sticky in the winter. We just get on with things. It isn't always pretty behind the scenes, but the plants don't mind. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the pots pile up. That’s just how it goes in this trade. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Other businesses come and go, but we're still here at the same old address. It's a solid place to work from. We keep our gear here and head out to wherever we're needed that day. Hopefully, the coffee machine works today.
