Gee Em Auto Industries

Our place, Gee Em Auto Industries, is located over at N-202, Sec-1 in the DSIIDC part of Bawana Industrial Area. If you know Bawana, you know it’s a maze of streets and factories. We’ve been here in this unit for several years. It’s not a very big space, but we use every inch of it for the machinery and the stock we keep on hand. Most of our days are spent checking specs and making sure the metal parts are coming out right. It’s noisy and there is always a lot of movement. We have a few guys who handle the lathes and others who take care of the packing. It’s a routine that works for us. We don't really do much advertising or have a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who have been dealing with us for a long time. They know where to find us in Sector 1. Sometimes the trucks have trouble navigating the narrow lanes around here, which can be a bit of a headache during deliveries. We just deal with it as it comes. It's honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We drink a lot of tea while we discuss the day's production schedule. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a group of people making parts and trying to do a decent job of it every day. We just keep the floor running as best as we can.
