About Foundation For Democratic Journalism – Charity & Non Profit Organisations in North West Delhi
Our office is at Plot No. 489 on the upper ground floor of Mbr Enclave. This is in Pouchanpur Extension, Sector 23. The Foundation For Democratic Journalism has been based here for a while now. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the main parts of Delhi, which suits us just fine. Our space is mostly taken up by desks, computers, and a lot of old newspapers and magazines. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working at our stations. We spend a lot of our time researching and writing, so it can get pretty quiet in here except for the sound of typing. We are a small team and we all do a bit of everything, from fixing the printer to answering the door. We don't have any big corporate goals written on the walls. We just want to get through our daily tasks and do a decent job. The upper ground floor location is handy because we don't have to climb many stairs. Sometimes we go for a walk in Sector 23 when we need a break from the screens. It’s a very basic, no-frills kind of place. We aren't trying to be fancy or look more important than we are. We are just a bunch of people who care about journalism working from a modest office every single day.
