Fluid The Fitness Lounge

Fluid The Fitness Lounge is situated at number 6 in the LSC at Derawal Nagar. We are pretty close to Pentamad Hospital, so it is a landmark most people in the neighborhood know well. We call it a lounge, but do not let that fool you; it is still a place where you are going to sweat and work hard. We try to keep a bit of a relaxed atmosphere though, without people shouting or dropping weights constantly. The space is filled with various machines and a corner for free weights that gets a lot of use. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Our members are mostly local families and people who work in the nearby shops. It is not a massive place, so you tend to get to know the faces of the people training next to you every day. We do not have a big team of staff, just a couple of us who keep an eye on things and make sure no one is doing anything dangerous with the gear. The mirrors get some smudges and the floor is a bit uneven in one corner, but we focus on making sure the machines are greased and ready for use. It is a practical spot for a daily workout. We do not do any of those loud shouting classes. It is mostly just people doing their own routines at their own pace.
