Facsimile Publisher

Facsimile Publisher is based over on Gyan Avenue in Ashok Vihar 2. We’ve been here in the 110052 area of Delhi for a while now. We’re primarily book sellers, but we also do some publishing work. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place filled with manuscripts, old books, and printing equipment. We focus on reprinting things that might be hard to find otherwise. It’s a niche business, for sure. We spend a lot of time looking at old texts and trying to make sure the reproductions are decent. It’s not always perfect, but we do our best with what we have. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to some other parts of Delhi, which helps when we’re trying to concentrate. We aren't a big house with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us who really like books. We don't have a flashy storefront. People usually find us because they're looking for something very specific that nobody else has. We just go about our work every day, surrounded by piles of paper. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but that’s the nature of the business. We like being in Ashok Vihar. It’s been a good home for us. We don't do much self-promotion, we just let the books speak for themselves. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life here at Gyan Avenue. We just keep doing what we do, one page at a time, for whoever values the old stuff.
