Out here at 313/2-B in Inder Lok, things are usually moving at a steady pace. It’s not the most modern part of town, but it’s where we’ve set up our shop and it works fine for what we need. The building is a bit older and has that solid feel to it, with thick walls that keep things a little cooler in the summer. We spend most of our time in the back where the stock is kept, moving things around and checking that everything matches up with our notes. The front area is just a basic office with a couple of chairs and a desk that’s seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t have any big flashy signs out front, just the address and our name so people can find us. The neighborhood is full of other small businesses, so we’re always nodding to the guys next door as they head out for lunch. Sometimes the power flickers a bit when the weather gets bad, but we just keep going. It’s a simple operation without any of the corporate polish you might see elsewhere. We’re just regular people trying to keep things organized and making sure our customers get what they came for. It’s a quiet kind of life here in Inder Lok, focusing on the day-to-day tasks and making sure the inventory stays in good shape for whoever needs it. We close up early on Saturdays most weeks.
