Dr. S K Goyal Clinic is tucked away at 100/28, right behind the Telephone Exchange in Rohini. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, which is nice compared to the main roads. People sometimes have to look twice to find the entrance if they haven't been here before. We’ve been operating from this building for quite a while now. The inside is pretty basic—just some benches, a table, and the exam room. We don’t see the point in having a lot of fancy gadgets in the waiting area. Most people just want to get in and out anyway. We handle a bit of everything that walks through the door. Sometimes it’s a cough, other times it’s something more stubborn. The staff is just a couple of us who have been here forever. We know the shortcuts around Rohini and where to get the best snacks nearby during lunch breaks. The telephone exchange building is a good landmark, so we tell people to look for that first. Things get a bit slow in the mid-afternoon, so we usually use that time to tidy up the files or fix whatever might be squeaking. It’s a modest place, but it’s ours. We don’t promise anything magical, we just provide a place for people to get checked out. If the light is on, we’re usually inside working on something. It’s a steady kind of life here behind the exchange, and we like the peace it brings.
