Delhi State Industrial Development Corp. Ltd. (Dsiidc)

We are based at Gd-71 in Pitam Pura. Most people just call us Dsiidc or use the full name Delhi State Industrial Development Corp. Ltd. when they are being formal. This part of Delhi, the 110088 area, is pretty well-known for being crowded and active. Our office at GD-71 is right in the middle of all that action. It is a bit of a trek to get here sometimes because of the local traffic, but once you arrive, it is just a normal working environment. We deal with various industrial development tasks and it keeps us on our toes. There are files everywhere and the phones ring quite a bit. We don't have any of that corporate polish you find in the big glass buildings. It is more about getting the job done and helping the local businesses get what they need. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on various local sites. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually the highlight for everyone in the office. It is a simple setup with desks and computers and not much else. We have been in Pitam Pura for a good while, so we are used to the noise and the pace of the street. It is just where we do our work every day. There is always something to fix or a paper to sign, and that pretty much sums up our life here at the office.
