Deepak & Co

We have been here in Pitampura for quite some time now. Every morning starts about the same way with the shutters going up and the dust being swept out onto the pavement. Deepak & Co isn't a fancy place, just a regular spot where we handle our daily work. The traffic on the main road can get pretty loud by noon, and sometimes we have to shout a bit just to be heard over the horns. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the back desks, looking over papers or talking to people who drop in with questions. It is usually just us and a few helpers trying to keep things organized. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the right day to shut down and get it done. Customers know us by name, and we know which of them will complain about the heat or ask for a glass of water before even saying hello. It’s a simple life here in this part of Pitam Pura. We don’t have any big corporate plans or anything like that. We just focus on getting through the stack of work on the table and making sure the lights stay on. Sometimes the electricity cuts out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside on the stools for a bit. That is just how things go around here most days.
