D E Autoflame Appliances is located over in the Kirti Nagar Industrial Area, specifically at Lawrence Road 10. This is a very industrial part of town, so there's always the sound of machinery and trucks going by. We work with appliances, mainly focusing on the more technical side of things like burners or heating elements. Our workshop at Lawrence Road is usually full of metal parts and the smell of grease. It’s not a showroom where everything is shiny and new. It’s a place where work actually happens. We have a few guys who have been with us for years, and they know these machines inside out. We don't spend money on fancy branding. Most of our work comes from people who know us or other businesses in the industrial area. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on stuff every day. Sometimes we stay late to finish an order when a customer is in a hurry. Kirti Nagar is a tough area with a lot of competition, but we just focus on what’s on our workbench. We keep our tools sharp and our records in order. It’s a straightforward business. If someone needs an appliance part or a fix, they come to Lawrence Road 10 and we see what we can do. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay cool when the furnace is on. It is a noisy life but it is ours. We just keep the flames going and the parts moving.
