Council For Horticulture Skill

Our office is up on the third floor of Plot No 7. It is part of the Dda Service Centre in Sector-5, Rohini. Being on the top like that means we have a bit of a view of the surrounding area, though it is mostly just other buildings and the street below. The Council For Horticulture Skill has been in this West Delhi spot for a bit. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs every morning, but we do not mind the exercise since the lift is often out of order. The building itself is one of those standard DDA structures you see all over Delhi. It stays busy around here with people coming and going for different things in the service center. We have some plants sitting around the desks, naturally, since that is what we focus on here. The rooms are basic, nothing too special, just desks and some plastic chairs for when people come by to talk. We spend a lot of time talking about plants and how to grow things better in the city. Sector-5 is a decent area and it is fairly easy to find once you get into the main parts of Rohini. We have got a small kitchen area where we make chai in the afternoons. It feels like a regular workplace where everyone knows each other. We do not really do anything fancy here, just stick to our tasks and try to keep the place organized despite the dust from the road.
