Corporate Bank

Working at the Corporate Bank branch on Azadpur Main Ring Road is always an interesting experience. Being at B 6/2 means we are right in the middle of all that heavy traffic and noise coming off the road. You can hear the trucks and cars all day long even through the glass. Inside, it’s a lot of paper shuffling and people waiting in line to get their books updated or to move some money around. We have these heavy desks and chairs that have been here for years. It’s not the quietest place to work but we like being where the action is. Sometimes the computers are a bit slow and we have to ask people to wait a little longer while the screen loads up. We see a lot of regular customers who live or work around the Ring Road. They usually have a quick story to tell while we are counting out notes or filling out forms. The floor gets quite dirty from all the shoes coming in off the street so there is usually someone around with a mop. We keep a few water dispensers in the corner for anyone who’s been standing in the heat outside. It’s a busy spot and there is always something needing to be filed or stamped before we can head home for the day.
