We’re Concord Businesspagesctroceramic Industries, and you can find us at 102 Dsidc Wazirpur Complex. The Wazirpur area is quite industrial, so there’s always a lot of noise and movement outside. We work with ceramics, but the more technical kind used in industrial parts. Our space in the complex is pretty functional. We’ve got machines, some benches for assembly, and a corner for the desk work. It’s dusty work sometimes, but that’s expected with ceramics. We spend a lot of our time making sure the kilns are at the right temperature or checking the finish on a batch of parts. There’s a lot of waiting involved in this job while things cool down. We aren’t a massive factory, just a local unit doing our best. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them instead of producing. It’s frustrating, but it’s part of the trade. We’ve been at this location for a good while. The neighbors in the complex are mostly other small workshops, so we all know each other. We don't have a receptionist; if the bell rings, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see who it is. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. It’s a simple life, focused on making things that work. We usually close up around six and head home to get some rest for the next day.
