Cellbond Exim India Private Limited is based out of a house in Kapil Vihar, specifically number 33. Working from Pitampura makes sense for us because it’s a central enough spot in North West Delhi. The office isn't anything you'd see in a movie; it's just a regular place where we sit down and deal with import and export details. Some days are slow, while others involve a lot of shouting into phones to make sure containers are moving. We started this because we knew the trade business well enough to give it a go ourselves. It’s been an interesting journey so far. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We don't have a big reception area or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We usually just make a pot of tea in the back. Our desks are covered in ledgers and shipping documents. It’s hard work, and we get tired like anyone else, but we like being our own bosses. We handle the logistical headaches that come with exim work every day. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and we have to spend hours fixing it. That’s just the reality of the business. We are just a small team trying to make a living and keep our clients satisfied with the work we do. It’s a simple life and we prefer it that way.
