Our main setup is out here in Pitampura, specifically at Unit 23, Plot 5 in the Dr Sandeep Complex. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the brass parts we handle. We have our roots in Jamnagar, which is where the heart of the brass work usually is, but this Delhi location handles a lot of the day-to-day business for us now. The smell of metal is something you just get used to after the first week. We spend a lot of time sorting through different fittings and industrial pieces. It’s mostly just a handful of us here keeping track of everything. The complex can get a bit crowded, especially in the afternoons when everyone is trying to load up their vans at the same time. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; people usually find us because they need a specific part for a machine or some plumbing work. We keep the registers and the inventory on some old desks in the corner. It’s a straightforward operation. We make sure the threads on the brass pieces are right and that nothing is cracked before it goes into a box. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the machines running, but we have a couple of fans that do the trick. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the paperwork without making too much of a fuss about it.
