Association For Child Education & Conservation Of Environment

Our office for the Association For Child Education & Conservation Of Environment is located on the first floor of Pocket-19, Block-F in Sector-8, Rohini. It’s a typical North West Delhi neighborhood, busy but with a lot of families around. We have a small space where we manage everything, from planning lessons for kids to figuring out how to plant more trees in the local parks. The first-floor location is nice because we can see what’s happening on the street, but it’s far enough from the road to keep the dust down a little. We aren't a polished organization with a lot of money. Most of our furniture is second-hand and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But it’s a functional space where real work happens. We spend our days coordinating with local volunteers and trying to make sure the kids in the area have access to decent books and materials. The conservation side of our work is just as important, so you’ll often see us out in the community rather than just sitting at our desks. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the people in Rohini knowing who we are and what we’re about. It’s a grassroots kind of thing, very basic and very focused on the local environment and the next generation without any extra fluff or corporate pretense.
